The Upper:

• The iconic speed boot made by Puma in 2010, this was a lower tier model based off the V1 speed boot
• The V5.08 model used a similar cosmetic approach to the top end model
• For a lower tier model, the upper was rather nice, using a slightly thicker leather material that was pretty flexible and soft to the touch 

The Sole Plate:

• Puma had a unique approach to the sole plate design
• For the most part, the plate material was similar to Adidas, a lightweight, 2 piece plastic design, with bladed stud design towards the front
• However, the back featured a cluster of studs for added heel support, most likely to help with keeping the boots locked in as they were very lightweight and thin

Notes and Comments:

• This was one of the most iconic speed boots of all time produced by Puma.  Even for a mid tier model, the upper was a work of beauty
• Worn by various stars including Anelka, Eto'o, and many others
